Job Description:

As a Shelter Program Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the well-being of shelter residents by planning, organizing, and delivering programs that promote social growth, life skills, and resilience. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, and a commitment to supporting vulnerable populations.

  • Main Responsibilities:">
  • Monitor and engage with shelter residents during program activities.">
  • Ensure safety and well-being of participants during program activities.">
  • Assist with constructing new workshops and materials.">
  • Review existing resources and promote program participation.">
  • Document attendance and complete necessary documentation.">
  • Plan and organize creative materials for indoor and outdoor activities.">

Key Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you must have experience facilitating workshops, programs, and activities in a recreational or educational setting. You should also possess excellent communication skills, ability to work as a team player, and knowledge of relevant legislation.
