Ground Ramp Operations Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ground Ramp Supervisor to join our team at Alliance Ground International. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and safe operation of airport ground handling services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead agents and leads on each shift to ensure all procedures are followed in a safe and efficient manner.
- Mentor and coach agents and leads, and conduct on-the-job training to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Guide inbound and outbound airplanes to and from the gate, and transport, load, and unload passenger baggage, cargo, and mail.
- Clean aircraft passenger cabins between flights and stock aircraft with needed supplies.
- Operate heavy equipment to move luggage and cargo, tow planes between gates, and refill water tanks and lavatories.
- Be on time, be prepared, and be safe.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Assist with creating and managing the staffing schedule to ensure adequate coverage for each flight.
- Perform other duties as assigned, and be flexible and willing to perform any other tasks or responsibilities as required by the company to meet operational needs.
Requirements:
- Prior work experience in a similar role.
- Education and certification/licenses as required by the company.
- Airport Badge/Security Clearance (if applicable).
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 pounds (23 kg) on a regular basis.
- Carry heavy items up and down jetway stairs.
- Climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop on a frequent basis and for extended periods.
- Work outside in all types of weather, around jet and machinery noises.
Work Schedule:
Alliance Ground International operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We require our employees to be able to work flexible schedules, which may be adjusted to meet operational demands such as flight delays or cancellations.
