Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Wibble Wobble Childcare Ltd. as a Child Development Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Design and implement child-care programs that cater to the diverse needs of children, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment that fosters growth and development.
  • Leadership and Guidance: Lead activities that promote learning and development, including storytelling, singing, and educational outings.
  • Child Support: Encourage children to express their creativity through various mediums, such as art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity.
  • Health and Hygiene: Guide children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Snack Preparation and Room Arrangement: Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Observation and Reporting: Monitor children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with coworkers and community service providers working with children.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Qualifications: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week
