About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at McDonald's Restaurants of Canada. As a key member of our restaurant operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and quality in our food service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Prepare and submit reports to management on customer feedback and service quality.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates for food and supplies.
    • Prepare food order summaries for the chef and maintain accurate records of sales and inventory.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
