Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Blue Sky Home Care Inc.

Job Summary:

The Healthcare Support Worker will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals in their homes, promoting independence, dignity, and well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
  • Assist with medication management and administration
  • Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding
  • Provide transportation to appointments and outings
  • Monitor and report any changes in patient condition
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Healthcare Aide Certificate or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of experience in healthcare or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, and move patients as needed
