About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team at Bird Construction Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate the activities of subcontractors and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Operations Management: Evaluate daily operations and make adjustments as needed to ensure that projects are running smoothly.
  • Planning and Organization: Plan and organize daily operations, including selecting trade subcontractors and preparing construction project budget estimates.
  • Staff Supervision: Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers, as well as hire and supervise the activities of subcontractors.
  • Budget Management: Plan and manage budgets, including the direct purchase of building materials and land acquisitions.
  • Quality Control: Develop and implement quality control programs, as well as develop risk management plans.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports and oversee the analysis of data and information.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in construction management
  • Language: English
  • Work Setting: Commercial and/or industrial construction
  • Budgetary Responsibility: $8,000,001+
