Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Coherent Optical Systems Engineer to join our team at Infinera. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge coherent optical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop coherent optical systems, including transceivers, modulators, and other optical components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate optical systems into our products.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and technical reports.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in coherent optical systems and technologies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in coherent optical systems design and development.
  • Strong knowledge of optical communication systems, including transceivers, modulators, and optical amplifiers.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
