Job Title: Handyman/Woman

Deluxe Oak Bay Services Inc. is seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman/Woman to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors, as well as operating industrial vacuum cleaners and emptying trash cans.
  • Conduct minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Supervise other workers and show apartments and offices to prospective tenants.
  • Perform safety and security checks, and work with minimal supervision.
  • Assist with snow and ice removal from walkways and parking areas.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Will train.
  • Dependability, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, and work term: permanent.
  • Work language: English.
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
