Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Digital Payments Projects to join our team at Scotiabank. This role will be responsible for leading and implementing payment-related strategies to simplify and improve the payment customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and implement payment-related strategies to improve the payment customer experience.
  2. Manage projects from start to finish, including new payments initiatives, enhancements, or regulatory projects for the CCA region.
  3. Develop business requirements, prioritize projects, and manage tech funding requests.
  4. Collaborate with senior management and the CCA executive team to develop short- and long-term strategies.
  5. Drive collaboration across payment channels to improve the customer experience and reduce complexity.
  6. Work with third-party partners, including major networks, to optimize expenses and drive down direct expenses.
Requirements
  1. 3-5 years of experience in payment ecosystems, including credit and debit cards.
  2. Must have 3-5 years of experience in project management.
  3. Project Management Certification is an asset.
  4. Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
  5. Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to convey ideas and opinions across different levels of management.
