Operations Director, Mobility Canada

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead our Mobility Global Business Area in Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for aligning service, resourcing, and project risk activities across the Business Area, ensuring consistency in approach and speed of service transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement governance frameworks for project setup and handover
  2. Allocate project managers and conduct specific training to enhance their capabilities
  3. Conduct project reviews and maintain a risk regime
  4. Provide project and commercial support, collaborating with growth, finance, and legal teams
  5. Maintain a watch list and resource optimization to understand key risks for projects
  6. Participate in resource supply and demand forecasting and resultant plans

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor or master's degree and at least 10+ years of experience leading and growing a significant business function within a multinational engineering or professional services firm. They will be able to inspire multi-disciplinary teams and demonstrate significant leadership capability, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate at all levels of the organization.
