Key Responsibilities:- Education: Provide guidance and support to students in their academic pursuits, including helping them choose courses and programs that align with their interests and career aspirations.
- Experience: Collaborate with students to identify their strengths, weaknesses, and career goals, and develop strategies to help them achieve their objectives.
- Attend Educational Conferences and Workshops: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in education by attending conferences and workshops, and share your knowledge with colleagues and students.
- Counsel Students: Provide one-on-one counselling to students on educational, career, or vocational issues, and help them develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed.
- Consult with Teachers, Parents, Administrators, and Community Agencies: Work closely with teachers, parents, administrators, and community agencies to provide comprehensive support to students and ensure they receive the help they need.
- Coordinate Counselling and Information Services: Coordinate the provision of counselling and information services to students, parents, and teachers, and ensure that all services are delivered in a timely and effective manner.
- Administer and Interpret Standardized Tests: Administer and interpret standardized intelligence, aptitude, and interest tests to help students identify their strengths and areas for improvement.
- Refer Students to Specialized Services: Refer students to other specialized services when required, such as academic support services or career counselling.
- Participate in Staff Meetings and Educational Conferences: Participate in staff meetings, educational conferences, and workshops to stay informed about best practices and share your knowledge with colleagues.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
