The Opportunity: Senior Data Scientist Position
We are seeking a skilled Data Science Acceleration Specialist to work on projects that amplify the impact of data scientists, focusing on tooling across modern data science languages like R and Python to build tools that unlock patient data and streamline meaningful insights.
The ideal candidate will work on software products to revolutionize the way our Data Scientists generate actionable and novel insights, contributing to open source R packages and Python libraries that form part of our data science stack. They will be responsible for supporting the strategic, technical and business direction of our Data Sciences software products.
The successful candidate will review opportunities to simplify, innovate and collaborate with experts within and outside of the Data Sciences organization to create efficiencies in clinical trial data collection, data storage, data processing, and data analysis.
Requirements
- Advanced programming capability in Python
- Familiarity of modern version control tools
- Software development tools like CICD and open-source principles
We offer a competitive salary of $140,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and relocation assistance.
Who You Are:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced data scientist who demonstrates advanced knowledge of machine learning algorithms and their applications in healthcare. The ideal candidate has a bachelor degree or higher in computer science, data science or relevant technical field and has experience utilizing models, modern ways of working consistent with an agile growth mindset, and agile behaviors and methodologies.
