Data Science Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team at Raise. As a key member of our Digitalization Program Team, you will play a pivotal role in building a roadmap of data analysis and science for operational data to drive planning and decision-making insights.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data science, with significant experience in successfully executing data science projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions that drive business growth and innovation.
Key Responsibilities- Data Mining and Extraction: Extract usable data from valuable sources, utilizing various techniques and tools such as R, Python/Jupyter, SAS, Java, Scala, C++, Excel, MATLAB, etc.
- Machine Learning and AI: Develop and optimize machine learning models using popular frameworks such as Kubeflow, MLFlow, Liminal, Seldon Core, or general task orchestration frameworks like AirFlow, Luigi, Argo, and others.
- Data Preprocessing and Integration: Enhance data collection procedures, process, cleanse, and validate data integrity for analysis purposes.
- Presentation and Collaboration: Present results in a clear manner, collaborate with Business and IT teams, and develop ETL and data integration processes as needed.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, data science, operations research, statistics, applied mathematics, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent work experience).
- Specialization in ML, AI, cognitive science, or data science, with a track record of coaching other team members and providing training for knowledge transfer.
- At least six years of relevant project experience in successfully executing data science projects, preferably in domains such as customer behavior prediction, transportation, logistics operations.
- Coding knowledge and experience in several languages, including SQL, PL/SQL, and experience with distributed data/computing tools like MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, Kafka, MySQL.
- Experience with MLOps frameworks, DevOps/MLOps methods, and agile methodologies.
Competitive salary: $140,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
