Pizza Cook Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pizza Cook to join our team at 1201748 B.C. LTD. as a key member of our kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet customer demands.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Order supplies and equipment to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize kitchen efficiency.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Organize buffets and banquets to ensure smooth service.
  • Manage kitchen operations to meet customer demands and maintain high-quality standards.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees:
  • Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees, including housing, transportation, storage, childcare, and winter clothing.
Support for Youths:
  • Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth to develop their culinary skills.
  • Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.

We offer a permanent work term with 40 hours of work per week and English as the primary work language.
