About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Server to join our team at Ashoka Indian Cuisine. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Present bills to customers and process payments in a timely and efficient manner
  • Describe menu items, including daily specials, to customers and make recommendations
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and welcoming environment
  • Greet patrons, present menus, and answer questions regarding food and beverages
  • Order and maintain inventory of wines and wine glassware
  • Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive dining experience
Requirements
  • Experience in a food service environment is an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
