We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Field Operations Specialist to join our team at Veolia WTS. As a Field Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for performing field checks on process equipment, conducting wet testing in laboratory on water samples, and actively monitoring process equipment performance through online tools.
Key Responsibilities- Perform field checks on process equipment to ensure optimal performance and identify potential issues.
- Conduct wet testing in laboratory on water samples to analyze chemical residuals and other parameters.
- Actively monitor process equipment performance through online tools to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist in completing monthly reporting requirements to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Assist with chemical inventory order management to ensure efficient and cost-effective inventory management.
- Work with supervisors to identify opportunities for plant equipment optimization and implement improvements.
- Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Chemical, Environmental, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering, or a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Chemistry.
- Experience performing basic chemical tests such as titrations, pH & conductivity measurements, and using other simple chemistry lab instruments.
- Basic mechanical skills to help troubleshoot chemical feed equipment.
- Proficiency with computer-based tools (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
