Job Summary

As a Regional Director, Estate and Financial Planning Services, you will play a key role in leading the Regional Financial Planning Service team to deliver exceptional estate and financial planning services to clients and advisors. This is a leadership position that requires strong partnership skills, technical expertise, and a passion for delivering holistic planning solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the company's sales results by ensuring the delivery of estate and financial planning services to advisors within your region.
  • Lead and manage a regional team of professional financial planners, providing guidance on technical competence and expertise.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive the culture of holistic planning within the organization.
  • Maintain a current and thorough knowledge of estate and financial planning through research and industry-related functions.
  • Act as the voice of the Financial Planning service delivery team within the organization, participating in leadership discussions and contributing to the development of financial planning expertise.
  • Collaborate with Insurance Sales Directors and Advanced Case Managers to ensure a smooth Case Consultation process for advisors and clients.
  • Deliver seminars and presentations on advanced planning topics, working with the Financial Planning Support team and Directors of Advanced Planning.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in financial planning or a related field.
  • One or more of the following certifications: CFP, CLU, TEP, CPA, LLB, FEA.
  • Expert knowledge of estate and financial planning, as well as industry-related issues.
  • Previous leadership experience and a proven ability to provide strong leadership.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong relationship management skills.
  • Proven record of high achievement and result orientation, with experience working with financial planning software.
