Community Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Community Therapist to join our team at Willowbridge Community Services. As a Community Therapist, you will work with individuals, couples, and families to explore their strengths and resources, helping them overcome challenges and build a more positive future.
About the RoleThis is a full-time, fixed-term contract position with flexible working hours, including evening shifts. The successful candidate will be based in Brantford, ON, but will also have the opportunity to work remotely as part of our hybrid work model.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individual, couple, family, and group counselling services using strength-based and family-centred practices.
- Collaborate with clients to measure progress and track recovery rates using measurement-based care.
- Work with women and children affected by domestic violence, providing safety planning, advocacy, and referrals to other community services and resources.
- Participate in supervisions, team meetings, and agency outreach activities to ensure seamless coordination of services.
- Stay up-to-date with professional development through training, supervision, and attendance at conferences and workshops.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master of Social Work Degree (or equivalent) and registration with the appropriate professional body.
- Experience providing individual, couple, and/or family therapy, using strength-based, narrative counselling approaches.
- A passion for working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Client Database Applications.

Estimated Salary Range$65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
