Role Overview:
The CAD/Revit/BIM Lead will play a pivotal role in leading project teams with CAD/Revit/BIM modeling requirements, content creation, and coordination efforts. This position requires developing and providing training for junior team members. You will report to the Senior Technology Systems Specialist and Technology Systems Architect and provide Revit and AutoCAD support for design projects.
Key Accountabilities:
• Reporting to the Senior Technology Systems Specialist and Technology Systems Architect
• Providing Revit and AutoCAD support for design projects
• Leading project teams with Revit modeling requirements, content creation, and coordination efforts
• Coordinating team assignments and monitoring production
• Managing junior team members and conducting employee reviews, providing training, and mentorship
• Revit model and project model setup
• Document control and management
• Developing customized solutions as required
• Focusing on technology systems and devices in Revit and design
• Creating and managing families for technology systems including ESS, AV, Communications, IM/IT & Structured cabling
• Developing drawings using design information provided from Visio, Bluebeam, and CAD including systems line diagrams, floor plans, and elevations
• Providing training for junior team members
Qualifications & Experience:
This role requires a College/Technical/University Diploma and 3-5 years of Revit software design and application experience. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Revit and modeling in MEP, Architectural, Structural, and Revit & design focus in technology systems and devices for Div.27 and Div.28. Additionally, experience working with design markup programs such as Visio, Bluebeam, and CAD is essential.
