Pharmacist Opportunity in a State-of-the-Art Clinic

We are seeking a passionate and driven pharmacist to join our team in the brand-new, state-of-the-art Future-of-Pharmacy Clinic Design. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and contribute to the next chapter of pharmacy excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and timely to patients
  • Ensure medication and over the counter supplements inventory levels are adequate to meet patients' needs
  • Counsel patients regarding new and additional medications in a friendly, positive, and proactive interaction
  • Create awareness and educate customers through public relations (public health days, clinics, etc.)
  • Administer vaccinations and other activities as legislated by the Pharmacist Scope of Practice Program
  • Provide pharmaceutical professional services such as medication reviews, minor ailments, and specialty medication teaching
  • Provide timely and positive resolution to patients' needs and doctors' requests/issues
  • Review and control costs at all levels within Loblaw Pharmacy (dispensary)
  • Provide ongoing training for all new and existing pharmacy colleagues
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science, Pharmacy, and a Class A Pharmacist's license
  • Superior customer relations skills and a strong sense of professionalism
  • Excellent leadership and performance management skills required
  • Proven ability to build the business using community-based marketing strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including the experience formulating and executing action plans
  • Strong personal computing skills, as well as a working knowledge of HealthWatch Pharmacy Computer system
