Pharmacist - Future of Pharmacy Clinic

Are you a passionate and driven pharmacist seeking an exciting opportunity in a brand-new, state-of-the-art pharmacy clinic design? Look no further We are thrilled to announce multiple unique openings for pharmacist positions in the recently renovated Loblaw Pharmacy located in the Superstore in Sarnia, Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and timely to patients
  • Ensure medication and over the counter supplements inventory levels are adequate to meet patients' needs
  • Counsel patients regarding new and additional medications in a friendly, positive, and proactive interaction
  • Create awareness and educate customers through public relations (public health days, clinics, etc.)
  • Administer vaccinations and other activities as legislated by the Pharmacist Scope of Practice Program (Point-of-Care testing, Prescription Modification and Advancement, Minor Ailments, etc.)
  • Provide Pharmaceutical Professional Services such as Medication Reviews, Minor Ailments, Specialty Medication Teaching
  • Provide timely and positive resolution to patients' needs and doctors' requests/issues
  • Review and control costs at all levels within Loblaw Pharmacy (dispensary)
  • Provide ongoing training for all new and existing pharmacy colleagues (technicians, interns, assistants, students, IPGs)
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science, Pharmacy, and a Class A Pharmacist license
  • Superior customer relations skills and a strong sense of professionalism
  • Excellent leadership and performance management skills required
  • Proven ability to build the business using community-based marketing strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including the experience formulating and executing action plans
  • Strong personal computing skills, as well as a working knowledge of HealthWatch Pharmacy Computer system
