Sun Valley Co-op is seeking a skilled Building Materials Estimator to join our team at the Altona Home Center.

About the Role:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Offer information, assistance, and service to customers, ensuring excellent service delivery.
  • Provide timely and accurate material estimates for customers' building projects.
  • Coordinate and order special order products for customers.
  • Be familiar with all lines of merchandise in the lumber department.
  • Follow company loss prevention and security policies and procedures.
  • Perform interior and exterior housekeeping and maintenance duties.

Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of the building materials industry and products.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Enthusiastic approach to work.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills.
  • Efficient and accurate in a busy environment.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license.
