About the Role:

Sun Valley Co-op is seeking a skilled Building Materials Estimator to join our team at the Altona Home Center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Offer information, assistance, and service to customers, ensuring timely and accurate material estimates for their building projects.
  • Coordinate and order special order products for customers, demonstrating a thorough knowledge of all lines of merchandise in the lumber department.
  • Follow company loss prevention and security policies and procedures, maintaining a safe and secure work environment.
  • Perform interior and exterior housekeeping and maintenance duties, ensuring a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service skills and knowledge of the building materials industry and products.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, organizational abilities, and attention to detail.
  • Enthusiastic approach to work, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent communication skills.
  • A valid class 5 driver's license.
