Job Title: Roofing Specialist

Job Summary:

At Platinum Roofing Corporation, we are seeking a skilled Roofing Specialist to join our team. As a Roofing Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced roofers in various roofing tasks.

Responsibilities:


  • Load, unload and transport construction materials
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages


Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

This job is physically demanding and requires manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye co-ordination. You will be required to work at heights and in various weather conditions.

Weight Handling:

You will be required to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.

Personal Suitability:

We are looking for someone who is accurate, client-focused, efficient, and has excellent oral communication skills. You should be able to work well in a team and be reliable and hardworking.

Experience:

This role requires 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar position.

Green Job:

This role involves duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes.

Work Schedule:

You will work 40 hours per week and be required to work in a team environment.
