Executive Director of Global HR Initiatives

As a seasoned professional, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of Scotiabank's Talent and Core HR division. With a focus on globally ensuring specific individual goals, plans, and initiatives are executed, you will contribute to the team's business strategies and objectives.

Key responsibilities include championing a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships. You will provide specialized technical leadership in the analysis, design, development, and support of cost-effective online HR management and decision support systems within SuccessFactors.

Achieving this involves resolving complex business problems, managing multiple small projects, and providing ongoing support to assigned units globally. You will also be responsible for independently resolving complex, multi-faceted problems by applying your HR and technological knowledge.

To succeed in this role, you will require a proven track record of SAP SuccessFactors configuration lead experience, with certification in at least one Talent space. Spanish language proficiency is essential, as is a working knowledge of HR business processes.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, strong interpersonal and communication abilities, and the ability to work under tight deadlines and conflicting priorities. A recognized undergraduate degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or a related discipline, along with 4-6 years of practical experience, is required.
