Job Title: Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at KS Enterprise Inc.

Job Summary

The Personal Support Worker will provide high-quality care and support to our clients, assisting with daily living activities, personal care, and household tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care, ensuring the comfort and dignity of our clients.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, promoting healthy eating habits.
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Provide companionship and social interaction, helping to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Assist with medication administration, following established protocols and procedures.
  • Collect specimens, as required, and maintain accurate records.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Will train, with a focus on developing skills and knowledge in personal support work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to providing high-quality care and support.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
  • Handling heavy loads, as required.
  • Overtime required, as needed.
  • Work under pressure, maintaining a calm and professional demeanor in challenging situations.
