Landscaping Professional with Maintenance Expertise

Are you a skilled and physically fit individual looking for a dynamic role in landscape maintenance? As a Landscaping Professional with Janzen Earthscaping, you will play a vital part in keeping our parks and recreation sites looking their best.

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Landscape Labourer to join our team. In this role, you will perform a variety of tasks including pruning, trimming, mowing, and planting trees, shrubs, and flowers. You will also be responsible for removing litter and garbage, carting and spreading topsoil and other materials, laying sod or seed, and planting bulbs and trees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain their health and appearance
  • Cut grass using equipment such as lawn mowers and string trimmers
  • Remove litter and garbage from park areas and other locations
  • Cart and spread topsoil, mulch, and other materials as required
  • Lay sod or seed to repair damaged lawns and plant new ones
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees in designated areas
  • Apply fertilizers and other chemicals to maintain the health of plants and lawns
  • Repair and maintain equipment such as lawn mowers and string trimmers
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens as needed
  • Operate and maintain various types of landscape maintenance equipment

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience
