About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Labourer to join our team at Janzen Earth Products Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the beauty and functionality of our outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a healthy and visually appealing landscape.
  • Cut grass and perform other lawn maintenance tasks to ensure a well-manicured appearance.
  • Remove litter and garbage to keep our outdoor spaces clean and safe.
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials to enhance the appearance and health of our landscapes.
  • Lay sod or seed to repair and maintain our outdoor spaces.
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees to add beauty and diversity to our landscapes.
  • Apply fertilizers to promote healthy plant growth.
  • Repair and maintain equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure their health and well-being.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This is a physically demanding role that requires working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to handle heavy loads, work in various weather conditions, and maintain a high level of manual dexterity and attention to detail.

Requirements
  • Experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
