Landscape Labourer Job Description

Janzens Earth Products Ltd. is seeking a reliable and physically fit Landscape Labourer to join our team. As a Landscape Labourer, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and health of our outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Weed, prune and trim trees and plants to maintain their appearance and health.
  • Cut grass to maintain a neat and tidy appearance.
  • Remove litter and garbage to keep our outdoor spaces clean and safe.
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials to prepare the ground for planting.
  • Lay sod or seed to create a lush and vibrant lawn.
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs and trees to add colour and texture to our outdoor spaces.
  • Apply fertilizers to promote healthy plant growth.
  • Repair and maintain equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens to keep them healthy and thriving.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment to ensure it is in good working order.

Work Environment:

As a Landscape Labourer, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work under pressure and handle heavy loads. You will also be required to work in a physically demanding environment and be able to lift heavy objects.

Requirements:

Working Conditions:

As a Landscape Labourer, you will work in a variety of locations, including parks and recreation sites. You will be required to work outdoors in all weather conditions and be able to adapt to changing weather conditions.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

The hours of work are 35 hours per week.
