Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and physically capable General Labourer to join our team at Roadway Traffic Supplies Ltd. as a key member of our warehouse and manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation and Handling: Safely transport items throughout the plant using powered equipment and manually, ensuring efficient and timely movement of materials and products.
  • Quality Control: Check and weigh materials and products to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.
  • Packaging and Preparation: Sort, pack, crate, and package materials and products for shipping and storage.
  • Assistance and Support: Assist machine operators, assemblers, and other workers as needed to ensure smooth production and operations.
  • Labouring and Elemental Activities: Perform other labouring and elemental activities as required to support the team and meet business needs.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Licenses: Forklift Operator Certification is required.
  • Security and Safety: A clean driving record and bondable status are necessary.
  • Transportation and Travel: A valid driver's license and access to public transportation are required.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, in a fast-paced environment, with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and standing for extended periods.
  • Weight Handling: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, dependability, excellent oral communication, initiative, reliability, and team player skills are essential.
