Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Labourer to join our team at Roadway Traffic Supplies Ltd. as a General Labourer. In this role, you will be responsible for performing various tasks in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Handling: Transport items throughout the plant using powered equipment and manually transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant.
  • Quality Control: Check and weigh materials and products to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Packaging and Shipping: Sort, pack, crate, and package materials and products for shipping.
  • Assistance: Assist machine operators, assemblers, and other workers as needed.
  • Labouring and Elemental Activities: Perform other labouring and elemental activities as required.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Forklift Operator Certification is an asset.
  • Security and Safety: A clean driving record and the ability to pass a background check are required.
  • Transportation: A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are necessary.
  • Work Conditions: Ability to work independently, in a fast-paced environment, and handle heavy loads.
  • Physical Capabilities: Standing for extended periods, combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and attention to detail.
Personal Qualities
  • Punctuality: A strong sense of punctuality and reliability is essential.
  • Communication: Excellent oral communication skills are required.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a warehouse environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) is required.
