Site Superintendent Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to lead our renovation projects in the Greater Toronto Area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary range of $110,000 to $125,000 per year, plus attractive benefits that include comprehensive health insurance, retirement savings plan, and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Job Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities as a Site Superintendent will include:

  • Developing and overseeing construction schedules for ICI renovation projects
  • Collaborating with the Project Management team on project status, delays, and scope changes
  • Leading a construction team to complete projects on time and within budget
  • Coordinating trades and fostering strong relationships for project efficiency
  • Ensuring safety regulations and company policies are followed on-site
  • Overseeing quality control to meet specified standards and client expectations
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience managing ICI renovation projects from initiation to completion
  • Effective leadership in a renovation setting
  • Strong communication skills for internal teams, stakeholders, and trades
  • Minimum 8+ years in a site superintendent role within the construction industry, with ICI renovation experience
  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field
Preferred Experience

While not required, relevant experience in site supervision, ICI renovations, scheduling, commercial construction, industrial construction, institutional construction, and retrofits is highly valued.
