About the Opportunity:

Aviso Wealth is seeking a skilled Credit Officer to join our Operations team. As a Credit Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective monitoring and control of retail credit for our IIROC full brokerage platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and authorize cheques, EFTs, and wires based on risk management and AML regulations
  • Daily monitoring of credit, registered debits, and margin accounts based on firm policy
  • Review and approve internal/external transfers with credit-related ramifications
  • Monitor daily security concentration levels
  • Assist in capital and credit reporting
  • Complete other assigned projects

Requirements:

Your Background:

  • Post-secondary degree
  • Completion of CSC is an asset
  • A minimum of 2 years of credit experience with the securities industry
  • Extremely detail-oriented and accurate
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work calmly and effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible to meet changing needs and manage deadlines
  • Customer-focused, ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Fluent communication skills in English are required, and bilingual skills in French are an asset
