About the Role:
Creative Manitoba is seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to serve as its Executive Director. As the chief executive officer, you will be responsible for leading the organization's strategic direction, overseeing its operations, and driving its growth and impact in the arts and culture sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve the organization's mission and goals.
- Lead and manage a team of staff, advisors, and consultants to ensure the effective delivery of programs and services.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, funders, community agencies, and educational organizations.
- Represent the organization at public events and forums, advocating for the arts and promoting its programs and services.
- Develop and implement a strategic communications plan to promote the organization's brand and messaging.
- Oversee the organization's financial management, including budgeting, financial reporting, and grant administration.
- Ensure the organization's compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of leadership and management experience in the arts and culture sector.
- Strong strategic thinking and planning skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective plans to achieve organizational goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the Winnipeg arts landscape and a deep understanding of the organization's mission and goals.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, advisors, and consultants to achieve organizational objectives.
- Strong financial management skills, with the ability to oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and grant administration.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with a demonstrated understanding of Indigenous perspectives.
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary range of $110,000 to $130,000.
