Job Summary

1st RND DT is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cook to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for planning menus, preparing and cooking meals, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and prepare menus, taking into account food allergies and intolerances
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, ensuring efficient and safe food preparation
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean and maintain kitchen and work areas, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Manage kitchen operations, including ordering supplies and equipment
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
