Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Wholesale Buyer to join our team at Canadian Ware Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and terms, and overseeing the distribution of merchandise to our outlets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a network of reliable suppliers to ensure a consistent supply of high-quality merchandise.
  • Negotiate pricing, discounts, and credit terms with suppliers to maximize value for our company.
  • Oversee the receipt, inspection, and storage of merchandise to ensure it meets our quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine inventory levels and optimize purchasing decisions.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity to inform purchasing decisions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business or supply chain management.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the wholesale or retail industry.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
Work Environment

The Wholesale Buyer will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering results and exceeding sales targets. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a strong work ethic and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Language

The primary language of communication for this role is English.

Hours of Work

The Wholesale Buyer will work 32 hours per week, with a regular schedule and occasional overtime as required.
