Dojo Ramen is seeking a skilled Ramen Chef to join our team

As a key member of our kitchen crew, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods for our customers. Your attention to detail and creativity in the kitchen will help us deliver an exceptional dining experience.

  • Education:
  • No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Work Setting:
  • Restaurant environment with a fast-paced kitchen.
  • Tasks:
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas.
  • Experience:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Support for persons with disabilities:
  • Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
  • Support for newcomers and refugees:
  • Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Support for youths:
  • Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
  • Support for Veterans:
  • Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for Veterans.
  • Support for Indigenous people:
  • Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
  • Support for mature workers:
  • Provides staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers.
  • Supports for visible minorities:
  • Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
  • Work Schedule:
  • Permanent position with 35 to 40 hours per week.
  • Language of Work:
  • English.
