About the Role

AECOM is seeking a skilled Municipal and Pipe Conveyance CAD Technician to join our team in Victoria, BC. As a key member of our Water group, you will play a crucial role in supporting numerous Civil Infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical services to projects, either individually or as part of a larger project team.
  • Conduct field assignments, including topographic and construction surveying, construction supervision and inspections, measuring and tracking quantities, and daily construction reports.
  • Support office assignments, including drafting and design support for civil and water infrastructure projects, data input and analysis using spreadsheets and modeling software, and compiling reports.
Requirements
  • Technical Diploma in a relevant field.
  • 2 years of relevant experience in municipal design.
  • 2 years of AutoCAD Civil 3D experience and understanding of CAD standards.
  • Valid driver's license.
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with materials testing procedures and construction coordination services.
  • Ability to read and interpret Civil construction drawings.
  • Civil, Water, or Environmental Technology program diploma.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Accuracy with details is essential.
