AECOM is seeking a skilled Municipal and Pipe Conveyance CAD Technician to support our Civil Infrastructure projects in Victoria, BC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technologist services, including field assignments and office work.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support to projects, either individually or as part of a larger team.
- Conduct field assignments, including topographic and construction surveying, construction supervision, and inspections.
- Measure and track quantities, calculate grades and volumes, and compile reports.
- Support drafting and design for civil and water infrastructure projects, and analyze data using spreadsheets and modeling software.
- Technical Diploma in a relevant field.
- 2 years of experience in municipal design, with a strong understanding of CAD standards.
- Valid driver's license.
- Familiarity with materials testing procedures and construction coordination services.
- Ability to read and interpret Civil construction drawings.
- Civil, Water, or Environmental Technology program diploma.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
