Job Summary

The Financial Records Clerk will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and performing various accounting tasks. This is a permanent position with 35 hours per week.

Responsibilities
  • Cash Management: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, maintain cash flow records, and reconcile accounts.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, statements, and other documents as required by management or regulatory bodies.
  • Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
