Job Title: Human Resources Consultant

At WRHA Corporate, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in providing strategic HR advice and support to our internal clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide human resources management services and advice to internal clients and stakeholders to support strategy, planning, and operations.
  • Develop and implement effective HR solutions to address business needs and improve employee engagement and productivity.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Provide leadership advice to assigned client groups in all areas of an effective and efficient human resources program.
  • Assume conduct for, or assist with, the process of employee investigations related to respectful workplace, privacy, and other potential breaches of policy.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of progressive experience providing generalist human resources management support to management in a unionized environment, preferably in a large multi-enterprise and/or public sector organization.
  • Undergraduate degree in human resources, or in a relevant discipline combined with a post-graduate certificate in human resources management from a recognized post-secondary institution.
  • Chartered Professional Human Resources designation with current membership in good standing or equivalent is preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities as described in the framework including a passion for customer service.
Working Conditions:
  • Must be able to work safely in a typical computerized office environment with frequent meetings, and to lift and carry items of up to approximately 10 kg.
  • Interruptions to respond to questions from executives, and partner organizations are common requiring managing multiple priorities and competing demands.
