Job Title: Academy Director - STEM/STEAM

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic education professional to manage daily operations and lead staff by instilling a passion for STEM subjects and providing a safe, comfortable, and exciting learning environment for Steamoji families.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations of the academy, ensuring a smooth and efficient learning experience for students.
  • Develop and train staff to deliver our STEAM curriculum, promoting a culture of innovation and creativity.
  • Engage with children and families in the academy, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring parents understand how their child is learning and progressing.
  • Supervise a team of facilitators, providing guidance and support to ensure the academy meets its goals and objectives.
  • Uphold corporate standards with respect to center cleanliness and operational standards, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for students and staff.
  • Report regularly with owners, providing updates on academy performance and progress.
Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary graduate degree or diploma in a relevant field.
  • Proven work history with children ages 7 and up, with enthusiasm for working with kids.
  • Experience teaching kids and understanding their needs, with a focus on STEAM education.
  • Coding knowledge or experience an asset, with familiarity with technology, social media, and office equipment.
  • Flexible schedule, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to think on the fly and be perceptive to center dynamics.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary range of $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year.
  • Commission pay for meeting sales targets.
  • A comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off and on-site parking.
