About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labour and Delivery team as a Nurse Specialist. This exciting opportunity will see you working closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to expectant mothers and new parents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing expert nursing care to patients undergoing childbirth and postpartum care
  • Collaborating with obstetricians, midwives and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans for each patient
  • Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations to identify potential health risks and concerns
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in labour and delivery nursing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
