Job Responsibilities

  • Support reputable clients in a specific region to satisfy their inquiries on new application and aftersales business.
  • Engage in offering solutions and services, business development, and acquisition of new customers, including contract negotiations and closing.
  • Review customer requests, prepare tenders, submit them to clients, and ensure that Flender can satisfy the contract requirements.
  • Prepare work orders, enter orders with multiple Flender manufacturing plants, and collaborate with other Flender Business Units when following up on deliveries as required.
  • Function as the main link to technical departments in the Flender plants, ensuring the proper technical specification of products and issue technical documents as required.
  • Provide technical assistance and training to the inside and outside sales force, as well as customer visitation in defined regions or on an as-needed basis.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 4 years related experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency in AutoCAD or reading engineering drawings.
  • Experience or background in mechanical power transmission.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Fluency in the English language.
  • Knowledge of French and German is an asset.
