At Grand River Kitchens & Woodworking Inc., we are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker Professional to join our team. As a Cabinetmaker Professional, you will be responsible for creating high-quality wooden furniture and cabinets for our clients.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Study plans, specifications, or drawings of articles to be made
  • Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form a complete unit and reinforce joints
  • Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products
  • Apply varnish, veneer, stain, or polish to finished products
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures, and related products

Requirements:



  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • On-site work with no option to work remotely
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
  • Steel-toed safety boots and safety glasses/goggles
  • Excellent oral communication and teamwork skills
  • Punctuality and organizational skills
