The House of Commons Parliamentary Precinct Operations is currently looking to staff the Cabinetmaker Apprentice position.
The Cabinetmaker Apprentice is responsible for assisting in the construction, repair, and restoration of furniture in the shop and on site, and learning the various techniques related to the delivery of services to clients of the Parliamentary Precinct.

**Qualifications** Education**:
- Certificate in woodworking or related fields as cabinet and furniture construction obtained through a community or vocational college, OR an acceptable combination of education, training and experience.
**Experiences**:
- Good interpersonal skills, adept at establishing relationships with all involved parties;
- Basic experience in woodworking, cabinetmaking and carpentry;
- Experience in the use of various equipment and tools;
