Job Summary

The Ready Mix Driver is a key role within our Holcim team, responsible for delivering high-quality Ready Mix Concrete to our customers in a timely and efficient manner. This position requires a strong focus on customer service, safety, and environmental responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Ready Mix Concrete to customers in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections of equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
  • Collaborate with the logistics and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery operations.
  • Develop a strong understanding of our products and services, including their applications and benefits.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Meet or exceed productivity and quality standards, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 or equivalent education.
  • Valid Class 3Q (Air Brakes) or Class 1Q driver's license.
  • Previous experience in a related field, such as Ready Mix Driver or construction industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends.
