Job Summary

The Ready Mix Driver is a key role within our Holcim team, responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of ready mix concrete to our customers. This position requires a strong focus on customer service, with a commitment to providing a high-quality product and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a commercial vehicle to transport ready mix concrete to customer sites, adhering to all safety and environmental regulations.
  • Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing a positive and hassle-free experience.
  • Collaborate with the logistics and operations teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.
  • Meet or exceed customer satisfaction targets, with a focus on providing a high-quality product and exceptional service.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 or equivalent education.
  • Valid Class 3Q (Air Brakes) or Class 1Q driver's license.
  • Previous experience in a related field, such as ready mix delivery or logistics.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
