Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Planner Professional to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting planning and scheduling activities, preparing project schedules, and monitoring progress against the baseline schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support project planning and scheduling activities, including preparation of project schedules, load resource and budget schedules, and update schedules.
  • Lead and provide guidance to lower-level planners, ensuring that project schedules are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Extract Primavera data files and send to the cost controller for further analysis.
  • Monitor and control project progress against the baseline schedule, identifying and communicating any variances to stakeholders.
  • Prepare and update resource requirements reports, providing detailed insights into project resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with the Project Controls team to maintain an integrated cost-schedule project control system.

Requirements

  • University degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or business administration.
  • 10+ years of experience in cost control and project planning, with a strong background in engineering and construction projects.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Microsoft Excel, and experience with Primavera P6 or similar project scheduling software.
  • Expert knowledge of project management techniques, including critical path method, progress measurement, and earned value management.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
