Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Niagara Children's Centre. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in assessing, identifying, and treating communication difficulties in children, enhancing their quality of life and participation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and identify communication difficulties in children, including language, speech, fluency, voice/resonance, hearing, and pragmatics.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication difficulties, working closely with parents and caregivers.
  • Provide education and support to children, families, and other care providers on communication strategies and techniques.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care and support to children and families.
Requirements:
  • Registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO).
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Strong understanding of speech-language therapy principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
